Botanical Patchworks
The seminar was part of the Impulsproject: Dye Plants and Precarious Landscapes at LUCA School of Arts, and marked the inauguration of the dye garden in Ter Beken Park.
The program explored ecological and gardening practices within institutional contexts, highlighting the role of plants and cultivation in precarious landscapes. The afternoon included an outdoor walk through the park and garden, focusing on the botanical and colour traces discovered over the past year and the collaborations that have emerged, featuring an edible food installation along the walking trail, inspired by four cross-cultural Spring Equinox traditions.
Collaboration between Annelotte Lammertse, Marta Wódz, Lara Bongard, Julián García Long, Raquel de Melo Versieux, Weder Bloem, and Fleur-Couleur.
